Brief

• Carlton is an international up market luggage brand having a strong presence in different countries in Europe, India and Hongkong
• Carlton Travel are constantly expanding to new countries
• A key requirement was that there is ONE site for all countries, but each would have different pricing, stocks and products in the shopping area. Some countries would also have language options. The site administrator should be able to activate new countries with all required features easily, without any technical knowledge.
• The basic interface had come in from their UK office, and our mandate was to take that design and interface forward, while making sure that site users had a rich shopping experience

Solution

• For managing the multiple country otion, we built a strong form based admin console. This allows the super admin to create new countries and set language options. Country managers can then login and update pricing and stocks for products from a master list of products
• The system also automatically recognizes which country the user is from and automatically shows him information regarding the same
• The site effectively links to their social media campaign
• The interface has been designed so that users can get their information very quickly, with minimum refreshes
• Large powerful branding images and landing pages enhance the branding of the company and showcases the products in an interesting manner, leaving a lasting impression in the minds of the visitors.
• Though extensive animation and effects have been used, they are implemented using ajax and jqery, making it device compatible
